CJC-1295 WO/DAC
GHRH analog (GH secretagogue)
CJC-1295 without DAC, often called Modified GRF (1-29), is a lab-made analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), the natural signal that prompts the pituitary to release growth hormone. 'WO/DAC' means it lacks the Drug Affinity Complex, so it acts over a short window.
Also known as Mod GRF 1-29 · CJC-1295 no-DAC · Modified GRF (1-29)
How it is studied
It mimics the first 29 amino acids of GHRH and binds the GHRH receptor on the pituitary to stimulate a short pulse of growth-hormone release in research models.
Research context
Studied in laboratory and animal research on growth-hormone secretion, often alongside a ghrelin-receptor peptide such as ipamorelin.
Research area
Growth-hormone & growth-factor (IGF) research. This group of research compounds is studied for how the body's growth-hormone system works. Growth hormone is a natural substance made by a small gland at the base of the brain. Some of these compounds copy the body's own signal that tells that gland to release growth hormone. Others are lab-made copies of growth hormone itself, or of a related messenger the body makes afterward. All are for laboratory research only.
