AHK-CU
Copper hair peptide
A lab-made peptide of three building blocks (alanine, histidine and lysine) joined to a copper atom. It is a close chemical relative of GHK-Cu.
Also known as Alanine-histidine-lysine copper · AHK-copper · Cu-AHK
How it is studied
Like other copper peptides, it works as a carrier for copper. In the lab, researchers look at how it relates to the cells at the base of a hair root and to the growth of tiny new blood vessels.
Research context
A reference tool in laboratory research on hair roots and skin. Research use only.
Research area
Skin, hair & pigment research. This group looks at small peptides — short chains of the building blocks that make up proteins — and copper-carrying peptides that scientists study alongside skin cells, hair-root tissue, and the body's natural color-making cells. Everything here is a reference material for laboratory research only.
Strengths and availability
Listed strengths: 100mg. In stock. 10-vial kit prices are for wholesale members; the shop sells single vials and research bundles.
Certificates of analysis
No third-party certificate is published for AHK-CU on this page. The certificate library lists every report we hold.
