Selank
Calm-and-stress research peptide
Selank is a short lab-made peptide, also developed in Russia. It is a modified copy of tuftsin, a small peptide the immune system makes naturally, changed so it lasts longer in the body.
Also known as Tuftsin analog · TP-7
How it is studied
In animal and laboratory studies, researchers look at how it interacts with the brain's main calming system and with the body's own mood- and comfort-signaling chemicals. Its exact workings are still being mapped out.
Research context
A reference compound in research on the body's stress response. Scientists study it in laboratory and animal models of anxiety-related behavior and the brain's chemical balance.
Research area
Cognition, mood & sleep research. This group covers molecules that scientists study in the brain, in the body's stress-response system, and in the sleep-wake cycle. Most are short chains of amino acids (the tiny building blocks of proteins), and a couple are signaling substances the body makes on its own. All are described here for laboratory research only.
Strengths and availability
Single vials in stock: 10mg. Other listed strengths: 5mg, in stock. 10-vial kit prices are for wholesale members; the shop sells single vials and research bundles.
Certificates of analysis
We publish 1 third-party certificate of analysis for Selank (Janoshik). A certificate covers only the lot it was run on. Each report is also verifiable at the lab itself.
